Maybe spring has already sprung in your town, but I can hardly wait for warm weather to get here (and having lived in Iowa for a few months now, "warm" has become a relative term). I ready to be able to wear the new leather sandals my Mom sent, to ride my bike and wear big sun hats. Most of all, I can't wait for the local farmers' markets to come back to life. I love waking up early on a Saturday and walking to the market with a cup of coffee and a big satchel to fill with local veggies and meat and flowers. I'll miss the Knoxville Market Square Farmers' Market, but I'm so excited to meet new farmers and try new regional produce.

YES I'm so excited to try the Urban Farmer's Market that's opening down the street from my house this weekend. I wish I had taken advantage of the one in Knoxville, but uh... didn't really know to cook then, so!
